Next week, the Brave1 defense cluster will launch three new grant programs aimed at supporting Ukrainian manufacturers of explosives, autonomous drones, and missiles. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the presentation of the Government's Action Program, Ukrinform reports.
The first direction is financing the production of explosives. According to Fedorov, these are large grants of over UAH 100 million, which will be provided for the creation of innovative turnkey factories.
The second direction is to support manufacturers of autonomous drones. Due to the high technological requirements and significant costs, Brave1 is creating a separate program to fund such developments.
The third program concerns missile technology. According to the minister, about 20 products in this area have already been supported. The new grant program will cover cruise, ballistic and short-range missiles that can be used for air defense needs.
Fedorov noted that the necessary funds have already been provided for in the budget amendments for the second half of 2025, and all government decisions to launch the programs have been approved.
Previously, the minister stated that an air-to-air air defense complex is being created to protect Ukrainian skies, which is capable of protecting large territories.
