The 47th separate mechanized brigade "Magura" demonstrated the operation of the ground robotic complex "Lynx PRO" and told how a wounded soldier was saved with the help of the ground-based robotic complex. This was reported by Army TV.
"The task came from the first mechbat. They had to deliver engineering equipment and mines. And back we had to pick up a fallen soldier. And it so happened that while we were driving there, another person there injured his leg, either twisted it or broke it... he couldn't stand on his leg. We got there, unloaded, loaded the fallen one. On the way, we picked up another wounded one and returned to the base. We started the mission in the morning... the mission ended by lunchtime," said the commander of the combat module platoon of the 47th OMBR "Magura" with the call sign "CAT" .
According to him, the evacuation took place near the contact line (CLC) - less than 1 km away. Moreover, this was the first evacuation, and it was completed successfully.
In addition to logistical tasks, the NRC is also used for combat missions. In this case, a Browning machine gun is installed at work.
"We'll test it here in weather conditions. Rain, field, forest, how will the communication be. How will the terrain be...", says the commander of the company of the 47th OMBR NRK "Magura" with the call sign "Bilyi".
It is noted that the ground-based robotic complex can carry up to 250 kg of payload. The operating range is 18-20 km. There is a digital camera with day and night mode. At the same time, the backlight of the night camera is very clearly visible in the night vision device (in the video this is shown on the example of a PND with a light amplifier), and the camera itself "sees" at 10-15 meters.
"Bilyi" also emphasized that existing ground-based robotic complexes need to be improved, in particular, communication.
Note that the Steam Deck game console is used to control the ground-based robotic complex.
It was previously reported that Ukraine has created a ground-based drone called Bufalo. Its main tasks are logistics and humanitarian demining.
