Walt Disney Animation Studios has released the final trailer for Zootopia 2, which will be released in theaters on November 26, 2025. It is the sequel to the popular 2016 Oscar-winning animated film.
In the sequel, detectives Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) take on a new case. They will have to solve the mystery of a mysterious reptile that appears in the city and brings chaos to the lives of the townspeople. To do this, the heroes will have to go undercover and explore new areas of the metropolis, which will test the strength of their partnership.
The film is directed by Academy Award winners Jared Bush (director and screenwriter of Encanto and Zootopia) and Byron Howard (director of Encanto and Zootopia). The script was again written by Jared Bush.
Disney notes that the new installment will expand the world of Zootopia, show viewers unexplored areas of the city and new characters.
