Ukrainian studio AGaming+, home to big fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, has officially released ZONA: Origin, a virtual reality shooter that has been in early access since August 2024.

ZONA: Origin offers players a post-apocalyptic world in the mysterious territory around the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, filled with inexplicable wonders and sinister threats. But in addition to threats, including mutants, the Zone also has anomalies that hide rare artifacts that are hunted by both stalkers and bandits.

According to the plot, in 2022, a new mysterious disaster occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which turned the exclusion zone into a relatively safe place. However, already in 2030, strange and incomprehensible phenomena began to appear there. To study them, the government organization OSZ sent a group of scientists, but they disappeared. Later, stalkers also moved into the zone, who also began to disappear in the north of the territory. That is where the players have to go to solve the mystery.

ZONA: Origin, combining action, horror, survival, and role-playing elements, offers full weapon customization, a large number of diverse locations and monsters, over 30 hours of gameplay, many dangerous anomalies, artifacts, and a unique atmosphere of loneliness.

ZONA: Origin is already available on Steam, and until September 5, 2025, it can be purchased with a 23% discount - for 307 UAH.
