At the gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live event, Wargaming studio presented the biggest update in the history of its flagship game – World of Tanks 2.0.
As part of the World of Tanks 2.0 update, the user interface will be redesigned, it will become simpler and more functional. There will be a new garage, a new matchmaking system, a new Scandinavian map Nordskar, which was worked on by the Kyiv Wargaming team. In addition, the sound will be updated.
But most importantly, the game will feature 16 new Tier XI tanks, each with unique gameplay mechanics and a new progression system. More vehicles are expected in the future. A new story-based PvE event has been added to coincide with this appearance: "Operation Boiling Point", which was developed by the Wargaming Kyiv team. In addition, a comprehensive rebalance of over 350 tanks of all tiers will be carried out to ensure clearer roles and fairer gameplay.
