Last year, Microsoft introduced Windows 365 Link, the company's first cloud PC designed specifically to connect to Windows 365 services. Now, the device has gone on sale for $349.99, writes Windows Central.
Along with the launch, the company announced the full list of specifications of the computer. Windows 365 Link is equipped with an Intel N250 processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 64 GB of UFS storage, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
However, the cloud PC has a good set of ports - three USB-A 3.2, one USB-C 3.2, one HDMI, one DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Ethernet, a Kensington lock port, and a power port.
As for availability outside the US, the device will be available in Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and the UK. Windows 365 Link can only be purchased through Microsoft's commercial channels, as it is not intended for consumer use.
In order for company employees to use this computer, the employer must provide them with a Cloud PC through which they can log in to the device. Windows 365 Link does not allow you to run applications locally and only works when connected to a cloud-based Windows 365 PC.
