Apple has released iOS 18.5, the fifth version of its mobile operating system since it was first released in September last year. The update comes just over a month after the release of iOS 18.4.
The update can be downloaded over the air to compatible iPhones via Settings > General > Software Update. The iOS 18.5 build number is 22F76 .
Key features include new Pride Harmony wallpapers, notifications for parents when a Screen Time passcode is entered on a child's device, and support for carrier satellite features for all iPhone 13 models.
Also, the ability to use the Buy with iPhone feature when purchasing content in the Apple TV app on third-party devices has been implemented. Fixed an issue that caused a black screen to appear in the Apple Vision Pro app.
Recall that Apple is currently preparing to present iOS 19 and other operating systems at the WWDC 2025 conference in June, but before that, the company plans to release iOS 18.6 with Apple Intelligence support for users in China.
