The first image of the iPhone 17 Air case confirms rumors about its design
According to the latest information, Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 17 Air, which will be the thinnest iPhone in history. The first image of a case for this device has appeared on the network, showing off a new back design.
This case, shared on X by insider @SonnyDickson, shows off the smartphone's main feature - a large protrusion that runs the entire width of the device. According to the latest reports, this protrusion will house just one camera and will be 4mm thick.
The device itself is rumored to be just 5.5mm thick, making it extremely thin and light. The dimensions of the smartphone will be similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max — 163mm tall and 77.6mm wide. On the front, there will be a 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina display with a Dynamic Island notch.
Despite Apple's initial plans to make the iPhone 17 Air portless, the device will reportedly still feature a USB-C charging port. However, this decision could be a transitional step towards future models that will only support wireless charging.
