A series of animations showing off the functionality of Samsung's yet-to-be-announced dual-hinge foldable device, unofficially known as the Galaxy TriFold, have surfaced online. The materials were posted by users @TechHighest and @evowizz, who shared 14 video clips showing examples of how the gadget is used.
The animations focus on productivity and multitasking. In particular, the ability to continue working with an app after deploying the device to the main screen is demonstrated. Another example demonstrates the Samsung Internet browser with built-in Galaxy AI, which can be placed in a third of the display or opened in a separate window. It is also shown that incoming calls are displayed in a floating window with the ability to move and manage parallel tasks.
Another feature shown is the ability to move icons from the outer screen to the inner screen after unfolding. One of the videos also shows the unfolded device working in portrait orientation.
The animation of the "Camera" application is particularly noteworthy: its interface features a 100x digital zoom mode, which may indicate the use of a periscope lens.
Additionally, the device is likely to support DeX mode, which will work similarly to other Samsung smartphones. Other animations focus on multi-window mode, which allows you to work with multiple apps at the same time.
According to preliminary data, the official announcement of the Galaxy TriFold may take place in October or November this year. It is expected that the novelty will appear only on the South Korean market, like last year's exclusive Galaxy Fold Special Edition model.
