Anthropic is expanding the capabilities of its Claude AI bot with the addition of an automatic memory feature. It can now remember details of previous conversations without being reminded. For now, the feature is only available to Team and Enterprise plan users. This allows Claude to take into account a person’s preferences, project context, and key priorities in responses.
Previously, paid users could ask Claude to remember chats themselves, but now the bot will do it automatically. The main focus is on operational aspects, such as team processes or customer needs. Anthropic emphasizes that remembering is completely optional.
Users can view and edit their saved data through the settings menu. Claude will adjust his "memories" based on what to pay attention to or ignore. Similar features are already available in chatbots from OpenAI and Google.
Additionally, Anthropic has introduced incognito chats for all users. In this mode, conversations are not stored in history and do not affect future responses. This makes interactions with AI more controlled and private.
Recall that Anthropic recently completed a new round of financing, raising $13 billion and raising its valuation to $183 billion. This made the startup one of the most expensive in the world.
