Netflix has released the first trailer for the final season of Stranger Things

Netflix has released the first trailer for the fifth season of Stranger Things, which will be the final season. The series premieres in the US on November 26th, and the series finale will consist of three parts.

The season takes place in the fall of 1987. The city of Hawkins is under military quarantine and the government is pursuing Eleven. The heroes team up to destroy Vecna, who disappeared after the season four finale. According to Netflix, the final battle will be the most dangerous they have ever experienced.

Departure schedule:

Volume 1 — November 26 (November 27 in Ukraine);
Volume 2 - December 25 (December 26);
The final is December 31 (January 1).

The series finale is a major event for the platform following the completion of Squid Game and the planned finale of The Witcher.

By the way, the Stranger Things franchise will not end after the main series ends. Spinoffs are in development, including the animated series Tales From '85. The Duffer brothers are also working on other projects for Netflix.
