SonarPen styluses can now be used as Apple Pencil for MacBook

SonarPen has introduced (via NotebookCheck) a new feature for its SonarPen and SonarPen 2 styluses that allows them to be used with a MacBook.

With the SonarPen Driver, the MacBook trackpad turns into a pressure-sensitive drawing tablet. This solution allows styluses to detect the position and pressure of the stylus, transmitting this data to graphics applications.

The SonarPen 2, which has a USB-C cable, and the previous version of the stylus with a 3.5mm connector are now compatible with MacBooks running macOS 11 or later.
