GSC Game World has released a new major update for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl . Patch 1.3 contains over 1200 changes covering almost all aspects of the game. The developers have improved both the general A-life system and the behavior of the AI in various situations.
Mutant behavior has become more natural, and their movement has become smoother. Previously, mutants could react strangely if the player hid in a safe place, and even lose interest in other stalkers. This has now been fixed. Overall, there will be slightly fewer random encounters in the Zone.
Several new contextual death screens have also been added, facial animations in the main storyline have been improved, enemy visibility at night has been improved, shadows from the player's flashlight have been improved, new idle animations have been added for NPCs with weapons in their hands, and much more.
