GSC Game World announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro consoles in late 2025. Currently, the Ukrainian game is only available on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
The studio has not yet announced the exact release date for the game on Sony consoles, but STALKER 2 has already received a page on the PlayStation Store, where you can add it to your wishlist.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released on November 20, 2024, but exclusively for Microsoft platforms – Windows PCs and Xbox Series X|S consoles. In just two days after its release, the game sold 1 million copies. In March, GSC Game World reported that a total of 6 million people had played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
The game has been receiving updates throughout this time, most notably the latest patch 1.5, which introduced much-needed and long-awaited changes to A-Life's NPC AI system. It also added a new anomaly, weapon, and mutant loot mechanics.
