Sony has announced the Pulse Elevate, the first wireless desktop gaming speakers to join the PlayStation audio accessory lineup. They were revealed during the State of Play keynote and are scheduled to launch in 2026.
Each speaker is equipped with studio-grade planar magnetic drivers and built-in subwoofers for detailed sound and rich bass. On PS5, the speakers will also support Tempest 3D AudioTech, which will allow game effects to be precisely positioned in space.
The right speaker has an integrated microphone with AI noise cancellation that cuts out background noise during voice chat. This allows you to use full voice communication without headphones.
The speakers have a built-in battery and can be used in portable mode, or for desktop use, they come with charging docks. Users will be able to adjust the EQ, volume, sidetone and microphone settings directly from the PS5 or PC menu.
Pulse Elevate works via PlayStation Link with an adapter, a proprietary technology with ultra-low latency and lossless wireless connection. PS5, PC, Mac and PlayStation Portal are supported. There is also Bluetooth, which allows you to simultaneously connect a second system, such as a smartphone, for music or calls.
The Pulse Elevate will be available in Midnight Black and White, with the white model only available in limited quantities through the official PlayStation Store and select retailers.
