Sony is preparing an updated design for the Xperia 10 VII smartphone

Sony, which traditionally rarely changes the appearance of its smartphones, is preparing a redesign for its next mid-range model, the Xperia 10 VII. This is evidenced by an image of a case posted on the Japanese Amazon website (via SumahoDigest), which shows a new camera configuration.

Unlike the previous Xperia 10 VI, which had a vertical arrangement of the two main cameras, the new device will receive a horizontal layout. This is the first return to a horizontal camera block since the Xperia 10, released in 2019. While the changes are not radical, it is a noticeable step towards a design update for Sony.

There are no official specifications or launch date for the Xperia 10 VII yet. However, the appearance of accessories on retail platforms may indicate that the presentation is approaching. For comparison, the Xperia 10 VI was presented in June last year, so the novelty is already late in the company's usual schedule.
