Bloober Team confirmed during a meeting with investors that the remake of the first Silent Hill has entered the active development stage. This was announced by the CEO of the Polish studio Piotr Babieno and Vice President Karolina Nowak.
According to a statement from Bloober executives, the studio has two teams working on its own internal games, one of which is a Silent Hill remake. In addition, there is another team that has five third-party projects in the works.
As for the remake of the first Silent Hill, Bloober announced it in the summer, shortly after the Polish studio announced its continued cooperation with Japan's Konami. The new statement only confirms active development, but does not provide any additional details.
Additionally, Bloober Team also shared news about its own sci-fi survival horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn. According to the studio, it sold over 200,000 copies in its first three days of release.
Recall that the remake of Silent Hill 2 from Bloober studio turned out to be quite successful - in just over three months, sales exceeded two million copies. At the same time, this figure is still inferior to the new part of the series, Silent Hill f, which was purchased a million times in just the first day after release.
