Capcom's Resident Evil 3 Remake has been released for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, becoming the fifth installment in the Resident Evil series on Apple's mobile platforms.
The first part of the game is free to play, but to continue you will need to purchase the full version. It is available at a 67% discount for $8.25 until April 18, after which it will cost $25.
The game takes place in the fire-ravaged city of Raccoon City, the main character Jill Valentine, a member of the elite STARS unit, investigates the activities of the pharmaceutical company Umbrella, responsible for the creation of the T-virus.
The invulnerable Nemesis stalker is an iconic character from Resident Evil 3, created by the Umbrella Corporation to destroy all members of STARS.
Resident Evil 3 requires an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 series, or iPad and Mac with M1, A17 Pro chips or later. The game supports cross-device save transfers and is a universal purchase — buy once, play on all compatible Apple devices.
The game is 31 GB in size. You will need at least twice that amount of free disk space to install. You will also need an internet connection to run the game.
