Motorola has unveiled the annual update to its Moto G Stylus smartphone for 2025. The device will be available in two colors – blue and navy blue, with a leather-like back cover, an improved stylus compared to last year's model, and IP68 water resistance.
The company claims that the stylus in the 2025 model is 6.4 times more responsive than the previous generation. It also comes with AI features like Sketch to Image, which lets you turn a quick sketch into a full-fledged image, and Google's Circle to Search.
The screen size is 6.7 inches, like the previous generation, but the resolution has become higher - 2712 x 1220 pixels. This pOLED display also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a claimed peak brightness of 3000 nits. There is also a 32 MP selfie camera on the front. For sound, the Moto G Stylus 2025 is equipped with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos technology. The device has a 3.5 mm headphone port.
The camera unit is equipped with a 50-megapixel lens with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and optical image stabilization. For macro photography, the smartphone also has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a built-in macro lens.
The Moto G Stylus 2025 battery remains the same at 5,000 mAh. According to Motorola, it will last for 40 hours. But where there is definitely an improvement is in the charging speed, which is 68 W here versus 30 W in last year's model. The device also has 15 W wireless charging.
Inside, there is also a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The device will run Android 15 out of the box. Information about the update support period has not yet been disclosed.
The Moto G Stylus 2025 will be available in the US on April 17, 2025 for $399. It will be available in Canada on May 13. Availability in other countries will likely be announced at a later date.
