OpenAI has introduced a new ChatGPT Go plan, priced at $4.60 per month, the company's most affordable subscription. The new plan is currently only available in India, but will be available in other countries soon.
ChatGPT Go provides advanced access to the latest GPT-5 model, as well as other features at a lower price.
According to ChatGPT CEO Nick Turley, Go users will get 10 times more messages, image generation, and file uploads, as well as twice the storage compared to the free version.
The launch in India is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its position in one of its key markets. CEO Sam Altman has previously noted the country's rapid adoption of artificial intelligence and has discussed with local authorities the creation of a low-cost AI environment.
