After the announcement of a partnership between Telegram and Elon Musk's xAI company, which allegedly included the appearance of the Grok chatbot in the messenger, Elon Musk stated that the agreement had not yet been signed.
Earlier, Pavel Durov published a post discussing a year-long partnership with xAI. According to him, Telegram was to receive $300 million in cash and shares, as well as 50% of the revenue from all Grok subscriptions made through the messenger. It was also noted that messenger users would receive full access to all Grok features, including image generation.
However, less than a day after the publication, Musk commented that the deal had not yet been concluded. After that, Durov noted that an agreement on integration was already in place, but certain "formalities" remained.
Recall that in May 2024, Microsoft integrated the Copilot chatbot into Telegram. It supports the Ukrainian language, allows you to make up to 30 requests per day for free, but does not have image generation within the messenger.
