In addition to the solar-panel laptop, Lenovo also announced the ThinkBook Flip AI PC concept with a foldable screen at Mobile World Congress.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Flip AI PC features a dual-sided 13-inch display that can be folded out to 18.1 inches. In this mode, the screen extends to its full height and can be used for viewing documents or other tasks. There is also a sharing mode for working with other users in a dual-display format, as well as a tablet mode and a reading mode.
The reading mode is particularly interesting, as Lenovo claims it provides "distraction-free reading." All of these modes give the laptop certain advantages in multitasking.
Inside, the laptop is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 chip with a neural processor and 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a panel that Lenovo calls the Smart ForcePad. This panel has an integrated 3-layer backlit surface that provides multimedia controls and number keys.
The laptop also has integrated Thunderbolt 4 ports. They can be used to connect accessories and supply power.
