The Legend of Zelda film adaptation will hit theaters in March 2027
Nintendo unveiled a new mobile app yesterday to track the company's latest news. Today, it has already yielded its first results - it has information that the premiere of the Legend of Zelda film is scheduled for March 26, 2027, The Verge reports.
Unfortunately, no other new details about the film adaptation have been revealed yet. Nintendo initially announced the film in 2023, after which there was no news about the film.
It is known that the director of the film is Wes Ball, best known for his work on the The Maze Runner trilogy and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024). The producers are Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad.
We remind you that on April 2, another Nintendo Direct will be held, where the Japanese company will share details of the new Nintendo Switch 2 portable console, introduced in January.
