Hideo Kojima has announced the first cast members for his new stealth action game Physint, which his studio Kojima Productions is working on in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game will star Australian supermodel Charlie Fraser, South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok, and Japanese actress Hamabe Minami.
The game is in its early stages of development, with Kojima creating concepts and continuing to cast his own characters. Physint will be "the next level of tactical spy action" and will use technology that expands the studio's capabilities compared to Death Stranding.
The release is scheduled for no earlier than five to six years, so Physint has every chance of becoming a game for PlayStation 6. Work on the project began after the launch of Death Stranding 2. The company notes that the game will be the culmination of Kojima's work.
The studio plans to combine cinematic storytelling and interactive gameplay, and the game itself is described as a new original IP unrelated to the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Recall that at the presentation on the occasion of the 10th anniversary, Kojima Productions also showed the first trailer for a new game for Xbox - OD, and talked about the film and animated adaptation of the game Death Stranding.
