Google Pixel 9a, the new mid-range smartphone that will be officially unveiled soon, has already managed to demonstrate its capabilities in the popular Geekbench and AnTuTu benchmarks. The test results were published by insider @KaroulSahil in X (via NotebookCheck).

The device, equipped with the Tensor G4 processor, showed good performance results: 1530 points in the single-core and 3344 points in the multi-core Geekbench 6 test. In AnTuTu, the Pixel 9a scored 1,049,844 points, including 260,567 for processor performance and 434,441 for graphics.

These scores largely beat the results of its closest price competitor, the Samsung Galaxy A56, which scored 1,364 and 3,899 points in Geekbench tests, as well as 908,689 points in AnTuTu. Although the Pixel 9a is running on pre-release software, its performance already shows an advantage over the competitor.

The Pixel 9a is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, a 5,100mAh battery, and support for wireless charging. The official launch of the device is scheduled for the coming days.
