Google has announced the Pixel 10 series, which includes three models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. They are powered by TSMC's Tensor G5 processor, which delivers 34% faster CPU performance and 60% faster AI performance. The smartphones support Qi2 with the Pixelsnap magnetic charging system, as well as new AI features.
According to The Verge, the base Pixel 10 is equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 2200 nits. The smartphone received 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The battery has a capacity of 4970 mAh with support for 27-watt charging via cable and up to 15 W inductively. The smartphone received a 50 MP main camera, an ultra-wide-angle 48 MP and a telescopic 48 MP with 5x optical zoom, which was not previously available in the standard model of the series.
The Pixel 10 Pro has a 6.3-inch display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It has 16GB of RAM and 256 to 512GB of storage. The 4,870mAh battery supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The main camera module here is a 50-megapixel one with a larger sensor, which is joined by an updated ultrawide and telephoto lens with five times zoom.
The largest model, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, has a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO display with a frequency of 1 to 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The smartphone has 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of built-in storage, and a 5,200 mAh battery supports 45 W charging via cable and up to 25 W inductively. The Pro XL uses the same cameras as the Pro. However, thanks to the larger body, it was possible to integrate an improved cooling and acoustics system.
New AI features include Magic Cue, which offers automatic suggestions and texts based on Gmail, calendar, or message data. Also coming: generative AI zoom up to 30x with C2PA labeling, an updated Magic Editor, Camera Coach, and the ability to translate phone calls in real time with voice playback. A Journal app with automatic AI summaries has also been added.
Prices start at $799 for the Pixel 10, $999 for the Pixel 10 Pro, and $1,199 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Pre-orders are now open, and sales are scheduled to begin on August 28, 2025. The smartphones will not be officially sold in Ukraine.
