Google is renaming its Find My Device app to Find Hub and significantly expanding its capabilities. The update is designed to make tracking personal belongings more convenient and accurate.

The company is expanding its tracker ecosystem by partnering with manufacturers to integrate their devices into Find Hub. It's not just classic tags like Pebblebee or Chipolo — there will be luggage with built-in tracking from Mokobara, sports equipment trackers from Peak, and Disney-themed Bluetooth tags from Pixbee. Moto Tag owners will also soon get support for ultra-wideband (UWB) tracking.

The real-time location sharing feature has become more convenient — now in the People tab you can see photos of contacts you’ve given access to, even if they’re hidden on the map. Later this year, Google will add satellite connectivity, which will allow you to share your location even without cellular coverage — which can be useful in emergency situations.

Another new feature is integration with Aer Lingus, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia and Singapore Airlines, allowing users to track their luggage more efficiently while traveling.

The updated Find Hub will soon be available on Android devices running operating system version 6.0 and above.
