Samsung has officially released the stable version of One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Users in South Korea are the first to receive the update, SamMobile reports.
One UI 8 brings new features and improvements. The interface has updated icons, new themes and animations, support for dynamic backgrounds, and smoother transitions between screens. The camera now has expanded shooting modes, new filters, improved video stabilization, and faster access to Pro modes.
Communications features AI assistant integration in messengers, quick replies, and improved notification management. Samsung Health has updated widgets, more detailed activity and sleep tracking, and new workout programs.
Multitasking and productivity are made easier with the ability to run three apps in windows at the same time, an improved shortcut menu, and optimizations for large displays.
Security and privacy features include new app permission controls, enhanced Samsung Knox features, and data access controls. Accessibility settings for the visually and hearing impaired have also been improved, with new voice commands and screen zoom added.
