Samsung has published a quarterly financial report, which recorded a drop in operating profit by more than 50% due to significant losses in the semiconductor business. Despite this, the company announced an important breakthrough - the upcoming Exynos 2600 chip will be manufactured on the Gate-All-Around (GAA) process from Samsung Foundry. This will be the first 2-nm chip on the market, writes SamMobile.

The Exynos 2600 will receive a significant increase in NPU performance and improved support for AI functions directly on the device.

According to the leak, the new processor will retain ten cores, like its predecessor Exynos 2500, but will have a different configuration - 1+3+6. One main core will operate at a frequency of 3.55 GHz, three productive ones - at 2.96 GHz, and six energy-efficient ones - at 2.46 GHz. Graphics will be provided by the Xclipse 960 GPU, the performance of which can be 15% higher than the Adreno 830 in the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Exynos 2600 is expected to first appear in the Galaxy S26 lineup, which, by the way, will debut in early 2026 and will receive major changes.
