The Browser Company, known for its experimental Arc browser, has made its new AI-powered browser Dia available to all macOS users. Previously, it was only available by invitation.
Although the browser no longer requires invitations, it still has a few limitations. The main one is that Dia only works on macOS 14 and later, and on devices with M1 processors or later. If you meet these requirements, you can download the browser from the official website.
In addition to opening up the browser, The Browser Company also notes that it is returning to a weekly release schedule with new features and improvements. However, there is no word yet on a Windows release.
Recall that in addition to the announcement of the Dia browser itself, The Browser Company also introduced a premium subscription for $20 per month, which opens up even more artificial intelligence features.
The Browser Company isn't the only company to release an AI-powered browser, either. AI startup Perplexity recently made its Comet browser available to everyone after it was initially available to Perplexity Max subscribers for $200 per month.
Recall that Guardio recently conducted a study that found that artificial intelligence-based browsers are much more susceptible to fraud.
