Electronic Arts promises that Battlefield 6 will bring "the best PC experience in the franchise's history" - with support for 4K, 21:9 and 32:9 ultrawide monitors, HDR, unlocked FPS, full support for PS5 and Xbox gamepads, private and public servers, as well as modes for streamers and even incognito.

And yet, the game won't require a super-powered system for a basic run. According to EA, a 7-year-old budget PC can handle the game if you're willing to limit yourself to 1080p at 30 FPS.

Battlefield 6 minimum system requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 2060 / AMD RX 5600 XT / Intel Arc A380 (6 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Memory: 55 GB on HDD (SSD optional)

Interestingly, this is even less than the requirements of the open beta, which required 75 GB of memory.

For 4K at 60 FPS and ultra settings, you will need much more powerful hardware, but EA integrates all modern technologies from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel: DLSS 4, FSR 4, XeSS 2 and even frame generation - to reduce the load and increase FPS.

Battlefield 6 is expected to be released on October 10, 2025. After a few hours in the beta, players are already sharing mixed reviews: some are happy with the improvements, while others criticize the too-fast "Call of Duty-like" gameplay.
