The other day, the name of the new strategy game in the Star Wars universe, which was presented back in 2022, became known: STAR WARS Zero Company. And now EA has made a full announcement of the project.
It will be a turn-based tactical strategy game in the style of XCOM , with the main character being a former Republic officer named Hawks , who commands an elite squad of operatives called Zero Company during the Clone Wars.
Players will be able to customize Hawks' appearance and class, and personalize team members by choosing from "a range of original Star Wars character classes and types," according to the official press release. Operators will also be able to form bonds within the squad, which will "unlock powerful combat synergies."
STAR WARS Zero Company is being developed by Bit Reactor, with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games also participating in the development. Release is planned for 2026, and the game already has pages on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, where you can add it to your Wishlist.
