AI Overviews extension in Google Search launched in Ukraine

The AI Overviews extension for Google Search is becoming available in over 200 countries and over 40 languages, including Ukrainian, Google announced at its I/O 2025 conference.

Now, thanks to generative artificial intelligence, Search is taking things to a whole new level," the company said in a statement.

AI Insights was introduced to the company's search engine a year ago to make it easier to formulate new types of questions, find information, and explore relevant sites across the web. The company notes that with the introduction of this extension, people began to use search more often and were more satisfied with the results.

The extension can be used for both regular questions and for gathering ideas, such as organizing a party or getting quick tips on caring for houseplants. Thanks to the special Gemini model, AI Review collects information from many sites to immediately answer even the most complex questions. At the same time, the answers also contain links to the sources from which the information was taken.
