Meta's CTO Andrew Bosworth suggests that employees quit if they don't like the company's new policy. This is reported by TechCrunch with reference to Business Insider.
According to media reports, this happened after an internal discussion, when one of Meta's employees criticized the company for cutting back on its diversity and inclusion (DEI) programs and allegedly suppressing dissent within the company.
Andrew Bosworth responded by saying that any employee who thinks it's okay to leak information to the media because they disagree with the company's policy "should consider working elsewhere."
Another employee added that accusations of leaks are not the answer and that Meta employees feel disrespected.
"You should quit if you feel that way, I mean it," said CTO Meta.
The tense conversation reflects a certain level of internal discontent at Meta as the company implements significant policy changes, from scaling back DEI efforts to relaxing moderation standards.
