Are you surprised by this choice of a dream car for Friday? But the new Subaru Forester Wilderness crossover is a car for traveling through forests and fields, having a wonderful quiet family vacation, and finding adventures in nature. Isn't it a dream?
In general, the concept of Wilderness versions of various Subaru models is already well known: we take a billet car and add the necessary accessories to improve off-road performance. This time, the basis is the new-generation Subaru Forester crossover, which has received many changes. For example, an expressive black front bumper that is not afraid of off-road scratches and is decorated with 6-element lights instead of fog lamps. In addition to the design changes, the new bumper shape has significantly improved the entry angle - now it is 23.5 degrees instead of 19 for the regular Subaru Forester crossover.
Also, the Subaru Forester Wilderness crossover received 17-inch wheels and special Yokohama Geolandar A/T tires with developed tread checkers for improved off-road traction. Finally, the rear bumper has been redesigned, the side door skirts have been enlarged, and the hood has a black element to reduce sun glare.
Although there are no changes under the hood: the Subaru Forester Wilderness is still equipped with a 2.5-liter 180-horsepower gasoline engine. However, among the technical changes, it is still worth noting the appearance of a cooling radiator for transmission oil and increased ground clearance - as much as 23.5 cm!
The interior of the new Subaru Forester Wilderness has also received several distinctive awards. Firstly, the seats are covered with waterproof StarTex material, which makes it easier to clean the seats after dirt. Secondly, the seat headrests are decorated with Wilderness logos to emphasize the special version of the model.
The third distinctive feature of the Subaru Forester Wilderness interior is the numerous orange décor: inserts on the steering wheel and front panel, stitching on the seats. Otherwise, the interior is familiar: a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a vertical 11.6-inch display, a miniature CVT joystick, etc.
Sales of the Subaru Forester Wilderness in the US market will start at the end of 2025, the price will be announced later.
