We have already written that the upcoming OPPO Find N5 foldable flagship smartphone will be the thinnest in its category. Only the Huawei Mate XT with 3.6 mm is even thinner, but it folds twice, so the comparison is not entirely relevant. Probably OPPO Find N5 will remain available only in China, and its counterpart for the global market will be OnePlus Open 2. OPPO has now posted a teaser on Weibo and said that the announcement will take place in two weeks.
There is no official data on the characteristics and exact thickness yet, but some information is already available. GSMArena, citing X user Abhishek Yadav, claims that the smartphone will be 4.2 mm thick when unfolded. For comparison, the Find N3 was 5.8 mm thick, and the Honor Magic V3 is 4.35 mm thick.

As for the rest of the OPPO Find N5 / OnePlus Open 2 specifications, the processor is expected to be a slightly simplified version of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, which has 7 cores instead of 8. The smartphones will support 50W wireless charging and will be IPX9 waterproof.
