Lovers of mechanical keyboards have a new option. At CES 2025, Satechi has presented the SM3 Slim Mechanical Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard, a full-size, low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard that should be equally well suited for both Mac and Windows PCs.
Made in an aluminum case, the SM3 Slim has a full set of keys, including the NUM pad. The overall dimensions are 429×119×15 mm. For added convenience, the top can be raised with a built-in “foot”.
The company uses Proprietary Tactile Switches (Brown) with interchangeable keycaps. The options include dark and light gray keys. The set includes the necessary options for both Mac and Windows.
The connection is made via Bluetooth (up to two devices), a 2.4 GHz transmitter, and a classic wired connection. Up to four different devices can be connected at the same time with the ability to quickly switch between them.
The SM3 Slim also features a white LED backlight and 14 different patterns with fast switching and adjustable brightness.
The keyboard is also equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery. However, the manufacturer does not specify the estimated operating time. The keyboard can be charged via the built-in USB-C port. It can also be used for a wired connection.
Satechi SM3 Slim costs $119.99 in the US .
