Lenovo is working on a new portable console that will use the SteamOS operating system, similar to the Steam Deck. The company is expected to present the new device at CES 2025, which will be held on January 7-11, 2025. It is reported by The Verge.

It is about the Lenovo Legion Go S console, which was revealed by the famous insider Evan Blass last week. Renderings of the device show a separate Steam button that confirms information about SteamOS on board.

By the way, Lenovo Legion Go S will be the first non-Valve device to receive SteamOS. Currently, this operating system is used only in Steam Deck.

Among other things, the upcoming portable console will have controllers that can be removed and used separately, similar to the Nintendo Switch. Inside, the novelty is likely to receive an unannounced AMD Z2 Extreme chip.
