Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced their new project Elden Ring Nightreign at The Game Awards 2024. The game will be a roguelike survival action game with three-player co-op.

Elden Ring: Nightreign will not have a character leveling system typical of the series. Players will be able to choose one of eight unique characters, each with their own abilities, including an ultimatum skill.

The game will be divided into cycles of three days and three nights. At the end of each night, players will have to defeat a unique boss. Also, after each night, the game map will shrink due to the Night Tide.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN

Elden Ring Nightreign is not a sequel to the original game, but takes place in the parallel world of Limeworld. In the trailer, you can see characters from Dark Souls 3, including the Nameless King and the Fire Keeper.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is unlike any experience created before by FromSoftware. In this condensed action RPG, players will never experience the same journey twice as enemies, rewards and Limveld itself are ever-shifting and evolving each session in the realm of the Nightlord, writes Bandai Namco.

The game is being developed by Junya Isozaki, who said that Hidetaka Miyazaki approved his ideas and gave him full creative freedom in the development.
