According to an insider, Galaxy S25 smartphones will support a new wireless charging standard.

We are talking about Qi2. Unfortunately, it is not yet known which one: Extended Power Profile (15 W, without magnets) or Magnetic Power Profile (still 15 W, but with magnets for leveling and mounting). By the way, the first Android smartphone with magnetic Qi2 is HMD Skyline.

It is also known that Samsung will offer a number of new magnetic cases for the Galaxy S25 series, writes Roland Quandt of Winfuture.

Although there are already similar cases for Galaxy S series smartphones, they are exclusively third-party products. Samsung will offer “transparent cases” with magnets that can be used to connect the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra to other accessories. Samsung is also planning several new charging docks.
