In January-October 2024, the IT sector provided the Ukrainian budget with $530 million per month. This is reported by Opedatabot citing data from the National Bank of Ukraine.
“This year, IT exports brought in $530 million per month. For comparison, last year this figure was $555 million (US – ed.). The most profitable year for IT exports was 2022 – $600 million (US – ed.),” the report says.
This year, the highest figure for IT exports was recorded in March, when it amounted to $570 million. However, the lowest result of $510 million was observed several times: in January, June, and August.
As of October this year, Ukrainian IT exports amounted to $532 million. In October last year, the figure reached $529 million, and in October 2022 – $535 million.
Earlier, Lviv IT Cluster reported that the export of IT services in the third quarter of 2024 provided the Ukrainian economy with $1.6 billion. Compared to the third quarter of last year, exports of IT services decreased by 4.6%.
