We have repeatedly written that Apple is developing the HomePod smart display. The company planned to showcase the device at WWDC 2025, but now it decided to postpone the release of the novelty, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
According to a new report, Apple has postponed the announcement of HomePod with a display to Q3 2025. This means that the device will be officially unveiled sometime between July and September next year.
Kuo says that the delay in the production of HomePod with a display is mainly due to software development issues.
It is known that the device will have an Apple A18 chip under the hood and will emphasize the functionality of the “smart home” more than the current HomePod.
By the way, HomePod with a display will be able to interact with Apple’s IP smart home camera, which is rumored to be released in 2026.
