Spotify has released Wrapped 2024, a year-in-review summary of your listens, most popular tracks, and artists. In addition, this year the company added some AI and used the NotebookLM model to create a podcast about the year 2024 in music.
In this personalized year-in-review, the service’s subscribers will be able to dive into their most popular songs, artists, and genres of the past 12 months. Two AI-generated hosts will discuss these lists, share interesting facts about songs and bands, and do much more.
Unfortunately, as with most Spotify innovations, this feature is only available in English and in a very limited number of countries: USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and Sweden.
In addition, such Wrapped sections as Music Evolution, which tells about the change in preferences throughout the year, are available only in limited countries. Various AI playlists will also be available in limited markets.
For Ukrainians, this year’s Spotify Wrapped has been quite simple. In Ukraine, users will only see general statistics, such as the number of minutes listened to, top artists, how many times they listened to their favorite song, etc.
