GSC Game World is actively fixing bugs in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The developers have released a new patch number 1.0.3.

The update fixes several issues related to game crashes and memory leaks. In particular, various errors such as ACCESS_VIOLATION_ERROR and LowLevelFatalError have been fixed.

The developers have also solved the problem that many players have complained about – “slow” mouse control. Mouse smoothing and acceleration were disabled by default.

In addition, the standard mouse sensitivity settings have been updated. The new default values look like this:

  • Camera sensitivity: 25%.
  • Aiming sensitivity: 15%.

Some bugs in the story and side missions were also fixed, including the problem with Bayun’s disappearance before the start of the mission, unexpected deaths of key characters, and other similar bugs.
