Jaguar has presented the Type 00 concept car, on the basis of which the first production car of the renewed brand will be made

The renewed Jaguar company has presented its new Type 00 electric car concept.

The car’s design can be called distinctive to say the least: the long hood smoothly transitions into a low roof and a fastback rear profile without a window.

Jaguar’s Chief Creative Officer Jerry McGovern said at the presentation that “Jaguar has already thrown away the rules of design and created the E-Type and XJS.” This car should be another step in that direction.

The company departed from design standards in many ways: 23-inch wheels, an oval steering wheel, three brass grilles running through the cabin, butterfly wing doors, and a stone partition between the seats.

The car is presented as a design demonstration of the first production Jaguar of the next generation, an electric four-door GT, which will be introduced in late 2025. Jaguar claims a range of up to 430 miles (692 kilometers) and fast charging that can provide a range of up to 200 miles (320 kilometers) in just 15 minutes.
