Polaris Quest, a Chinese company owned by Tencent, has announced its first game – Light of Motiram. The game looks like a copy of Horizon by Guerrilla Games, but focuses on crafting equipment, survival in the open world, and cooperative play for up to 10 players.

In the world of the game, human civilization has fallen into decline for unknown reasons. Giant mechanical beasts roam the untamed wilderness, and humanity has rolled back to its primitive era.

The Polaris Quest combat system was taken from the Monster Hunter series. The game promises many types of unique weapons that can be upgraded by collecting resources. The success of the hunt is also influenced by the robot companion you take with you.

The developers also promise that the game will have more than 100 robots, each of which can be tamed and customized (Palworld?).

The game will be released on PC only on Steam and the Epic Game Store. The release date is still unknown.
