We recently wrote that Samsung is working on a simplified version of the Samsung Galaxy Flip 6 foldable smartphone. Now, insider @Jukanlosreve has revealed new details about the gadget.
According to the leak, the Galaxy Flip FE will be powered by a proprietary Exynos 2400 processor. For comparison, the Galaxy Flip 6 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
As for Exynos 2400, it is an octa-core chipset that was released in early 2024. It is installed in the flagships Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. The Exynos 2400 has a maximum clock speed of 3.2 GHz and Xclipse 940 graphics.
Unfortunately, there are no other specifications for the Galaxy Flip FE yet. By the way, the device is expected to debut in 2025 alongside the Galaxy S25 Slim.
