Ukrainian director Liubomyr Levytskyi, who recently releasedWe Were Recruiters, presents the first teaser of his new tense action thriller KILLHOUSE. The movie will be released in the fall of 2025.

KILLHOUSE is based on a real-life rescue story where a well-known American journalist finds himself in the epicenter of a rescue operation conducted by a DIU special forces unit and the 3rd Separate Air Assault Brigade. The film features the involvement of real servicemen and veterans of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in particular the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade and the military community.

The main task of the operation is to extract a wounded couple from an intersection in the occupied territory, where their car came under enemy fire. However, events do not go according to plan, and everything becomes extremely complicated when it turns out that the life of another person is at stake: The 14-year-old daughter of a journalist who has been taken hostage by the enemy.

The journalist, who until recently had been an observer of the events taking place in Ukraine, quickly becomes their main character. The Russians demand that he be exchanged for a girl. This operation gains worldwide publicity and the participation of the US intelligence services, turning into a desperate struggle for life.
