NVIDIA announces significant changes to the GeForce Now cloud gaming platform. In 2025, streaming time will be limited to 100 hours per month for everyone, including premium subscribers.
The first year restriction will apply only to new subscribers. If you are already using the service or subscribe before December 31, 2024, you will have unlimited hours of streaming for the next year. But this is only if you renew your subscription on time.
New users who exhaust the 100-hour limit and want to continue using the service will be able to purchase an additional 15 hours for $3 (Performance) or $6 (Ultimate).
According to NVIDIA, the limit will be introduced to avoid increasing subscription prices and to reduce queue times for Performance and Ultimate plans. The company claims that 94% of all users of the service play less than 100 hours per month, so this should not limit players too much.
