The Skoda Kylaq is a new crossover created for the Indian market to meet their specific requirements. For example, one of the key requirements is the size. Therefore, with its length of 3995 mm, the Skoda Kylaq crossover fits into the preferential category of 4-meter cars – it is a very, very small crossover. However, it still demonstrates the original Skoda design with the hood beak and offers a full 189 mm of cross-country clearance, which is quite good!

The Skoda Kylaq will be equipped with a non-alternative 1.0TSI gasoline engine (115 hp and 178 Nm), but there is already a choice of transmissions – either a 6-speed manual or an automatic with the same number of gears. The drive is exclusively to the front wheels, but one could not expect anything else from such a small car on the MQB-A0-IN platform. The most dynamic version promises acceleration to “hundred” in 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 188 km/h.

An 8-inch digital instrument panel awaits the driver inside the Skoda Kylaq, and a multimedia system with a 10-inch display is designed for entertainment. There are ventilated seats and a panoramic roof, the possibility of ordering a 2-color interior, numerous security systems, a 446-liter trunk with the possibility of increasing due to the folding rear seat. Of course, all of this will be offered only for the maximum configurations, but for such a car, this is still a very high level of equipment.

The market launch of the Skoda Kylaq is scheduled for the spring of 2025, and currently these terms refer to the Indian market. But we would really like to see such a car in Ukraine, especially given its price, which starts at just 8700 euros.
